Summer is over, but the warm memories will stay with us for a long time! This is all thanks to our incredible DECIDE Summer Clubs «We are at home – in Ukraine» and their creative culmination: the DECIDE Film Festival 2026.
This summer, the DECIDE Summer Clubs 2026 «We are at home – in Ukraine» ran in 23 communities across 8 regions of Ukraine. A total of 695 educators took part in the initiative, and the activities of the Summer Clubs reached more than 5,600 children, including 348 internally displaced children and 98 children with special educational needs.
The main focus this summer was career guidance. The children explored the world of professions, met with experts, visited businesses and organisations, tried new activities, and discovered opportunities in their own communities.
In total, Summer Clubs offered:
- 677 career guidance events;
- 430 career guidance excursions.
The participants turned their experiences and observations from the summer into video stories. This year, they were united by the theme «My community – a territory of opportunities». Through their work, the children and summer club teams presented their home communities, introduced viewers to the local people and professions, and spoke about their personal discoveries and the opportunities available right on their doorstep.

The main award of the festival – the Grand Prix of DECIDE Film Festival 2026 «We are at home – in Ukraine» went to Mostyska city community!
All teams will receive gifts from DECIDE. For participants, we have prepared a DECIDE Media Box containing a lapel microphone, a mini illuminated tripod for a smartphone, a desk phone holder, a video light and a power bank – everything they need to continue creating their own photo and video stories.
The winners will receive additional prizes: studio lighting kits, wireless microphone systems, and a stabilising monopod, whilst the Grand Prix winners will also receive an action camera.
