The Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE Project continues its selection process and invites communities from all regions of Ukraine to join the national stage of the selection process for communities wishing to jointly develop networks of academic lyceums through inter-municipal cooperation agreements (IMCAs).
Based on the results of the selection process, up to 50 communities will receive:
- expert support in the process of developing and concluding inter-municipal cooperation agreements;
- a grant of up to UAH 1 million for the development of an academic lyceum.
Who can participate?
The selection process is open to Ukrainian communities interested in signing cooperation agreements with one or more other communities to jointly establish, operate, and develop academic lyceums in compliance with Ukrainian legislation.
Communities from all regions of Ukraine that are not subject to Order No. 376 of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine dated 28 February 2025 are eligible to participate.
What does the grant support cover?
Grant funds may be used for:
- the purchase and modernisation of teaching materials and equipment for laboratories and subject classrooms;
- repair works;
- the purchase of furniture and equipment for boarding facilities;
- the purchase of transport for the transportation of students and teachers.
The grant programme supports the following forms of community cooperation:
- delegation of tasks;
- co-financing (co-maintenance);
- a combination of delegation and co-financing.
Requirements for participation
To apply, please submit an application comprising:
- motivation letters from partner communities;
- a project proposal for cooperation;
- a draft budget for the grant.
Deadline for applications
Applications will be accepted until 17 June 2026 inclusive.
