This summer, DECIDE Summer Clubs 2026 «We are at home – in Ukraine» offered children more than just a chance to relax, make new friends, and spend time together. The main focus of the summer clubs was careers guidance – and discovering the world of professions was certainly not limited to simply hearing about what careers they might pursue in the future.
But today, the focus is not on career guidance, but on active leisure activities at our clubs.
The summer club programmes were designed to keep the children constantly on the move and discovering new things. The summer is a time for being more active, playing, and spending as much time together as possible. Hence, the DECIDE Summer Clubs programmes were packed with activities that made it hard to sit still.
Every day at the clubs, children started with morning exercises, played sports, did stretching, organised dance flash mobs, relay races and team competitions, and played football, volleyball, badminton and other active games.
There were also board games and quizzes, creative workshops, karaoke, picnics and local history treasure hunts, walks and outdoor activities, and on the hottest days – even an «aqua disco».
Because summer clubs are also a place where you can make new friends, express yourself outside of school lessons, and simply have a brilliant time together during the holidays.
And this summer there were plenty of such opportunities – in total, more than 580 activities were held within the DECIDE Summer Clubs 2026.
‘Every day we learn something new and keep really busy. I don’t regret for a moment being here right now instead of sitting at home.’
‘There were lots of new friends at the club and a great atmosphere! It’s 10 out of 10 – I’ll definitely be back next year!’ – say the participants of the summer clubs.
Active, creative, fun, and anything but boring – our photos show what the summer days were like at the DECIDE Summer Clubs 2026 «We are at home – in Ukraine».
